Rupgadh is one of the very few high hill fort of Gujarat. It is situated at 1670feet from sea level, near Kalibel in Dang District of Gujarat. This short yet beautiful trek passes through dance forest and muddy trail. It gets bit stiff at some point. Peak monsoon, that is July, August and September, is the best time to trek at Rupgadh.
This fort is an example of 17th-century Dangi mountain architecture. Pilaji Rao Gaikwad of Gaikwad dynasty built Rupgadh fort in 1721 and made Songadh the capital of his state. His Son Damaji Rao has shifted it to Vadodara

Early morning around 4 am, we will depart from Surat. We will reach at base village at Dang, post breakfast we start our jungle trek. We will do our lunch in late afternoon. Post lunch we will explore nearby hidden waterfall of dang. We will travel back to Surat in the evening
Note: We will provide transportation from Surat. You can choose to drive on your own too.
